Ecosystem

Kubernetes is a powerful orchestrator capable of running and managing production workloads. However, it can’t do everything on its own; it relies on many external components to handle various tasks and features.

In the previous sections we introduced the concept of Ingress Controller, and also illustrated the usage of Helm. In this section we introduce additional projects and tools from this rich ecosystem. The scope is not to go deep in the details of each component, but rather to present their main features and use-cases.
